My Personal Yoga Challenge

Yoga is relaxing, and it makes me feel strong and beautiful.

So...over the next 45 days I am challenging myself to practice yoga 5-6 days per week.

My goal is to increase my energy level and finally be able to make it through a sun salutation series doing REAL chaturanga because right now I can barely do a modified charuranga (on my knees).

Of course, I am going to listen to my body...so if that means all I do is spend 10 minutes in savansana or meditating to clear my mind after a stressful day at work, I will consider that a successful day.


As of now, my plan is to mostly do a mix of classes at my gym, and DVD's at home. I would like to take a few classes at an actual yoga studio because I think I would learn more than I do at my gym, unfortunately there is only one yoga studio near my house and they only offer heat yoga classes...which I want to try, but not until I feel a little more comfortable with my practice. So I might try a studio near work, or I might try doing CorePower Yoga on Demand.
