I don’t bake a lot because I don’t trust myself, or Jared for that matter, around bake goods.
But every once in a while, when I come across a good recipe, I dust off my bread pan, break out the baking supplies and have a good time.
This bread came from a recipe from Emily at Daily Garnish. In case you have never had Greek yogurt, I suggest 2% Fage which I buy in the natural foods cooler at my grocery store. If you’re not sure what to do with the rest of the container of yogurt after making your bread- Greek yogurt is a AWESOME substitute for sour cream. I also like to mix a little with a bowl of fresh fruit, which is usually what I eat for breakfast.
Jared and I have already eaten half…it is incredible! So moist. The blueberries didn’t even taste like they had been baked. (BTW I only had to bake my bread about 45 minutes, but this will probably vary depending on your oven so keep an eye on it!)
Jared even told me he think he just fell a little more in love with me because of the bread…and that it was the best banana bread he has ever had!
Then he posted that statement on facebook…
Which is odd because he doesn’t frequently make public declarations of love for me
I guess it really must have been good.

I'm not a big baker, but based on Jared's reaction I think I'm going to have to try this!
