Sad Day...

I think birthday's are generally exciting days...but today I'm feeling a little sad because my Grandpa isn't alive to celebrate with me.

I used to have strawberry shortcake every year, for my birthday, and I can't help but think about the year my Grandpa tried to bake the angel food cake from scratch- it wasn't good, but it was most definitely made with love.

Other Grandpa thoughts that make me sad today...

-My Grandpa also stopped shaving/started growing his beard when I was born.

It's been over two months since he passed away and I still cry almost every day.
