Pregnancy: Week #16

- How far along? 16w3d (May 13th)
- How big is the baby? 4 1/2 inches long and 3 1/2 ounces.
- Weight gain/loss? I am up about nine pounds
- Maternity clothes? In this picture I was wearing my maternity jeans and a maternity bra for the first time. I'm still able to wear all, or most of my regular shirts though. I especially love my Old Navy tees and wear them ALL.THE.TIME.
- Sleep? I'm back to being able to sleep as much as I want! Some weird dreams, but no more restlessness.
- Best moment last week? Your carrying my baby appreciation day AKA Mother's Day. Jared bought me a nice plant to set out on the front steps, got my car washing inside and out and we had my family over for a BBQ and yard games. It was a beautiful, and fun day.
- Symptoms? I have no real complaints this week. I've been feeling almost normal! My energy is back which makes me pretty happy!
- Food cravings/aversions? I really wanted watermelon over the weekend...and I could eat some sort of ice cream almost every night.
- Exercise: My abs are sore like I have been working out, but I haven't...lol. I blame my family, and maybe the baby. On Mother's Day we had everyone over and we were playing bocce ball. They though it would be fun to chuck the pallino all the way across the yard...I finally had to put a stop to that because apparently being pregnant means you can't throw two pound balls as far as a non-pregnant person without straining the muscles in your abdomen. I think the baby is also giving my abs a run for their money...they feel like they're stretching.
- Gender? No idea.
- Belly button? No change.
- What are you looking forward to this week? I don't know...I think it's just going to be a regular week.
- What I miss? Sushi. I really want a dragon roll.
- Mood? Happy.
- Movement? I don't think so. Apparently some people start to feeling quickening this early on, but I think the only movement I felt was gas and food slowly moving through my gut.
- Stretch marks? Not yet.
- Labor signs? Nope.
- Milestones? My baby is growing toenails!
